VASCULAR SURGEON OPPORTUNITY Findlay, Ohio Position Overview A growing and supportive community health system in Northwest Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to establish and lead a comprehensive vascular surgery program. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver advanced vascular care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while shaping the future of vascular services in the region. Key Features Lead the development of a high-quality vascular surgery programPlan to expand the team with an additional surgeon and advanced practice provider by 2027Strong referral base supporting a wide range of open and endovascular proceduresHybrid OR construction planned for completion by 2027Multidisciplinary collaboration with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialtiesSupportive team environment with experienced staff and administrative backingSchedule includes 2 clinic days and 3 procedural days per weekCall coverage includes 10 night/weekend shifts per month Clinical Scope Treatment of abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid disease, hemodialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, and limb salvageManagement with a full range of interventions including medications, lifestyle changes, and surgical proceduresSupervision of advanced practitionersFocus on patient education, prevention, and wellnessOngoing communication with referring physiciansTeaching & Mentorship OpportunitiesOpportunity to teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and allied health professionalsInvolvement in service activities and clinical trainingParticipation in research or academic initiatives (optional)Integrated Cardiovascular ServicesCardiac stress testing (Cardiolite, Lexiscan, Dobutamine)EKG and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)Cardiac catheterization and nuclear medicineVascular testing and diagnosticsCardiac rehabilitation and emergency cardiac care Ideal Candidate Qualifications BC/BE in Vascular SurgeryCommitment to clinical excellence, program-building, and patient-centered careAbility to collaborate across specialties and lead a multidisciplinary teamEligible for medical licensure in OhioMake a Meaningful ImpactThis is a unique opportunity to lead a vascular surgery program in a vibrant Midwest community, with full practice autonomy, multidisciplinary support, and strong potential for long-term growth and fulfillment.
