As a Software Developer, youll be responsible for helping us iterate our marketing site, custom built web-based platform, and API. In addition, the Software Developer will help us build great solutions and push the envelope technically on how we solve customer problems.

Job summary

The Software Developer is responsible fordesigning, developing, and supporting software applications.This is afull stackpositionthat requires expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Vue.js as well asproficiencyin other programinglanguages.Thisrolerequires the ability to understand business requirements, design and build software, and test and implement programs.The Developer willcollaboratewith teammates to achieve sprint and company objectives.

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Provide estimates for business problems and design solutions to them
  • Plan, architect, build, and implement complete features with the team
  • Work closely with other team members during sprint to achieve key objectives and deliverables
  • Partner with other developers to improve code quality through code reviews
  • Be proactive in solving problems and comfortable in moving quickly

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the technical knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with a combination of the following technologies:

  • Programing Languages : Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
  • Libraries & Frameworks : Spring (Java), Hibernate (Java), ArcGIS (optional but highly recommended), VueJS (optional but highly recommended)
  • Servers : MySQL, Tomcat, Apache
  • SCM : Git/Github

Available to work in the Dallas, TX office full-time.
