**Job Title: Construction General Laborer** **Job Description** Join our team as a Construction General Laborer, where you will work alongside duct or kitchen cleaning crews to assist crew leaders in cleanup tasks. You will employ various methods and equipment to execute these functions, traveling to different commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings to complete assignments. While most cleaning is done outside of vents, there may be occasions where you will need to crawl into tight spaces for thorough cleanups. Our team meets daily at the shop in Warren before heading to job sites, with some overnight travel required, which is compensated for. **Responsibilities** + Assist crew leaders in cleanup tasks using various methods and equipment. + Travel to various commercial, hospital, and industrial sites to perform cleaning duties. + Clean outside of vents and occasionally crawl into tight spaces for thorough cleanups. + Participate in overnight travel as needed, with compensation provided. + Meet daily at the shop in Warren before traveling to job sites. **Essential Skills** + 6+ months of general labor experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working on flat rooftops and in smaller spaces. + Flexible with shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with weekly schedule changes. + Mechanically inclined, with the ability to use and differentiate basic hand tools. + Valid driver's license or state ID. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in air duct or kitchen exhaust fan cleaning. + Familiarity with vacuums and power washers. + Leadership experience or ability to lead crews. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive opportunities for overtime and double-time pay on Sundays, with union membership benefits after 90 days. Be prepared for shift flexibility and travel as part of our dynamic team. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
