We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deck Builder to work with our landscape construction operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces. This role requires an individual who can build decks, gazebos and fences, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Team lead to build decks, fences and gazebos.
* Develop and implement effective construction schedules to ensure timely completion of all projects.
* Purchase of materials for exterior carpentry projects.
* Monitor the quality of work performed by team members, ensuring adherence to company standards and client expectations.
* Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for ongoing projects.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in deck building is essential. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
* Strong background in the construction industry.
* Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with team members and clients alike.
* Knowledge of best practices in carpentry.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
*Necessary Skills*
* Excellent carpentry skills.
* The ability to drive a truck and trailer and obtain a DOT Medical Card. CDL license is a plus.
* The ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs routinely throughout a 10 hr shift.
* In order to be successful in this position an applicant will need to possess basic computer skills.
* The ability to perform basic takeoff calculations in the field.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
