**Job Title: Loader Operator** **Job Description** Join a family-owned metal recycling company where your main responsibility will be operating the loader. In this role, you will clean up the yard and move large materials to their designated locations. You will also be responsible for loading trucks with the loader. The other 50% of your time will be spent helping in various areas throughout the yard, including operating the forklift, moving materials throughout the warehouse or yard, assisting with intake, and directing customers. **Responsibilities** + Operate the loader to clean up the yard and move large materials. + Load trucks with materials using the loader. + Assist in various areas throughout the yard, including forklift operation and material handling. + Help with intake and direct customers on where to go. + Participate in general labor tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of heavy equipment operation, specifically running a loader. + Experience with forklift and material handling. + Ability to lift 30 lbs individually and team lift 50 lbs. + Customer service oriented. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CDL certification. + Willingness to help in other areas such as inspection and compactor operation. + Stable work history, with at least 2 jobs over 5 years. **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities for upward mobility and promote from within. The equipment cabs are enclosed and heated for comfort. Core working hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with the yard open from 5 am to 5 pm, providing some flexibility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
