As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrols in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a premier hotel and resort location. Your presence and attention will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and respond to various situations with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the hotel or resort in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the hotel or resort, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or disturbances.
• Write accurate and detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Work closely with hotel or resort management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain visible and approachable to guests and staff, assisting with directions or information and/or responding to requests for help.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
