About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Insurance Planning to join their Wealth Strategies team. The successful candidate will be a key domain expert in personal insurance planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families. This includes a wide range of insurance products such as life insurance, annuities, long-term care, health, disability, and property/casualty insurance. The role is client-facing and involves working closely with the company's Financial Advisors to provide thought leadership, analyze client insurance needs, and develop customized solutions. The Director will also be responsible for training and educating the team on insurance products and planning strategies, as well as conducting original research and publishing insights. Applicants for the Director of Insurance Planning position at the company should have a strong background in risk management and insurance planning, with a focus on high-net-worth clients. The role requires a professional with a well-rounded expertise in various insurance products, the ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, and a proven track record of success. Strong analytical skills, thought leadership, and excellent public-speaking abilities are essential. The candidate must be highly quantitative, intellectually sophisticated, and client-service oriented, with the highest level of personal and professional integrity. FINRA registration and insurance licenses are required, and the company is willing to sponsor for FINRA licensing. The position demands a team player who is adept at building strong relationships and is prepared for some travel.
